Open Tracking Details
Flyer open tracking will give you an
estimate
of how many receivers opened your flyer. Open tracking is not 100% accurate but will give you a general idea of how
many people are reading your flyers. Following are a couple of factors that will affect your open tracking counts
- This feature will only record opens for receivers that
have their emails set to allow HTML. Text only email clients
will not be able to be recorded.
- Some ISPs may also have open tracking blocking
techniques in place, which will disable the ability for
certain opened emails to be tracked and recorded.
- Recent studies show that only about 6% to 10% of opened emails will
be recorded from open tracking software. For example if 800 people
opened your email, open tracking software will only record about 50
to 80 opens (6% to 10%). This is because of the open tracking blocks
ISP's have in place.
Your flyer open counts will display next to your flyer in
your members area under "Edit Existing Flyers". You will be able to click on the open count to display count break downs
by city.
Our system will save your open counts for up to 30 days after your
flyer is sent. After 30 days the counts will be purged. For privacy
purposes, we do not provide name, company or contact details of who
opened your flyer.
Note:
We do not guarantee open rates. We have no control on who and
how many people will open your flyer. You will not be entitled to refund
if your open counts are lower than you desired. We do however guarantee
that your flyer will be sent from our servers to all the email addresses
in the lists you choose.
